New Awakening Conference

New Awakening is JAMA’s national conference, the general purpose of which is three-fold:
1) To mobilize God’s people to humble themselves, pray and seek God’s face in repentance of sin (2 Chronicles 7:14)
2) To humbly ask the sovereign Lord to revive His people and bring reconciliation and renewal to this land (John 3:8, Psalm 85:6, Acts 4:31, Romans 12:1-2)
3) To develop these participants as changing agents of Jesus Christ impacting mainstream America and the world for His glory (Zechariah 8:20-21, Matthew 28:19, Acts 26:16-18).

We desire to see in these gatherings the sovereign work of the Lord reviving the Church through prayer and Biblical instruction (Psalm 19:7, Psalm 119:46), and to raise men and women with the prayerful faith of Jeremiah Lanphier, the plea of John Erskine, and the conviction of D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones.

Previous NA conferences have been held in Anaheim, Atlanta, Colorado Springs, Dallas, San Diego, and Washington, D.C. with speakers such as John Piper, Louie Giglio, Francis Chan, C.J. Mahaney, Cornelius Plantinga, Josh McDowell, and Bill Bright, and worship led by David Crowder Band, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Starfield.

Track sessions are available throughout the conference and are designed for special ministry interest and/or age groups. Track sessions provide participants the opportunity to share and network with others in similar interest groups and receive relevant training and resources.

Description of tracks that we’ve held in the past:
Kids (For kids entering kindergarten to 5th grades)
Children in this track will experience living worship, powerful messages, ministry of prayer, life-application activities, and fun fellowship with children from across the nation and abroad.

Youth (For those entering 6th-12th grades)
Youth are provided with the unique opportunity to learn at the feet of world-renowned teachers, dig into the Bible with the aid of our original curriculum, and gain in-depth spiritual nurturing.

College
Our desire for the college track is to cultivate leaders who are grace-depending, uncompromising, courageous, and faith-driven risk-takers in their decisions. This track aims to challenge students to get rid of the dichotomy of spiritual life and everyday life but rather to weave the two together so that their lives may exemplify God’s power and reality to the mundane world.

Crossroads
This track is aimed particularly at those who are in the unique season of singleness. This track seeks to foster a nurturing and edifying environment for young men and women so that they may embrace Christ in His entire splendor. This track will challenge people who are in the crossroads of life to see God and have Him in the center of their hearts and minds.

Marketplace Leadership (Formerly Professionals Track)
This track will provoke theological, spiritual and professional discussion for people engaged in the work-world. This track is designed to help you wrestle with following questions: Does my work really matter to God? Does God validate what I do? Why is my Sunday morning worship experience so far removed from my Monday morning drive to work? You will have the opportunity to glean from the insights of experts who are in different fields and are engaged in the marketplace.

Spiritual Formation
This track focuses on the process of becoming more Christ-like both internally and externally while living in our post-modern society. This track will help you understand what it means to bear fruit in each season of your life and to look at every season as necessary and having its divine good purpose. During this track you will find out how to juggle life’s demands with Christ’s true calling.

Short-Term Missions
Many people think that you have to go to go to seminary or become a pastor to become a missionary, but that’s not the only way. The reality is that missions is for everyone! That means you, and with the proper knowledge of what’s out there you can be making a huge impact in just a week, whether you’re married with children, a college student with limited funds, or in a job that gives you limited vacation time, there is a way for you to plug in.

Healthcare Professionals
This track welcomes current, future and retired healthcare professionals. The vision of JAMA, the healing and spiritual revival of America and all nations, will translate into practice in this track. Healthcare professionals will experience powerful messages, precious applications and networking for future medical ministry.

Pastors (English speaking and Korean speaking are separate)
The goal for this track is to create an environment for all the leaders and pastors from all over the world to network, learn, reflect and be refreshed.

Korean General
This track will offers sessions where attendees can choose freely from topics such as family, intercessory prayer, missions, Q.T., and worship ministry.
