Dr. John C. Kim is currently a professor of International Business and Management at the School of Business at California State University Monterey Bay and the president of Jesus Awakening Movement for America. Born in Korea during the Japanese colonial rule, Dr. Kim was attracted to the American government. In 1975 he received his Ph.D. in American Government with an emphasis in Public Policy from the University of Southern California. Soon after achieving academic success he was diagnosed with a terminal liver disease. However, after wrestling with God and encountering His grace he was miraculously healed. Though Dr. Kim has faced many challenges, he has always come out growing more intimate with God.
